How it Works

Tuition Rewards ® is a unique rewards program, offered by employers, health insurers, financial institutions and nonprofits, to address American families’ number one financial concern – a college education for their children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Each Tuition Rewards Point represents a guaranteed minimum scholarship (discount) equivalent to $1, with a maximum discount of up to one year’s tuition, spread equally over 4 years of full-time undergraduate education. There are over 445 private colleges and universities that accept Tuition Rewards, and 90% of Consortium colleges and universities have received an “America’s Best” ranking by U.S. News and World Report.

Two Important Deadline Dates for Students:

• Students must be registered, and Tuition Rewards must be pledged no later than August 31^st of the year they begin 12^th grade. This date also marks the final opportunity for students to earn Tuition Rewards from any source.
• Using the college and university list available in the member’s account, the member must submit a Tuition Rewards statement electronically to any member school(s) a registered student applies to within ten (10) days of the application being submitted.
